Print Logistic x ForActive: bringing custom merch to fitness communities
Print Logistic has become the production and technology partner for Merch Creator, a new module in the ForActive app designed for independent trainers, instructors and fitness clubs in the United States.
The feature allows users to create and order branded apparel and accessories directly from the app, without building a separate online store, managing inventory or organizing production on their own.
The project brings together ForActive, a platform created for fitness professionals and sports communities, and Print Logistic, a print-on-demand partner with experience in apparel customization, fulfillment, scalable production processes and digital product development.
ForActive: a platform for independent fitness professionals
ForActive is an app created to support independent trainers, instructors, coaches and small fitness communities in managing their daily business. The platform was built for professionals who develop strong relationships with their clients, but often manage bookings, payments, communication and class organization across multiple tools.
Instead of relying on private messages, manual calendars or separate payment systems, trainers can use one platform to organize their work and stay connected with their clients.
ForActive was founded by Maciej Biegański, formerly Head of UX at Booksy, and developed with support from people connected to the Booksy ecosystem. Booksy is a global platform for booking and managing service-based businesses, which gives this background particular relevance for a product focused on trainers, instructors and other independent service providers.
ForActive has also attracted investor interest. After previously raising PLN 6.5 million from ff Venture Capital, Movens Capital and business angels, the company secured USD 3.6 million in a 2026 seed round led by Simpact Ventures. The funding supports the platform’s growth in the U.S. market, where independent fitness professionals represent a large, fragmented and community-driven segment.

Merch Creator: custom products for fitness communities
Merch Creator was designed as a natural extension of the ForActive app. Many trainers and fitness professionals already have what brands often try to build from scratch: loyal audiences, regular contact with clients and a strong group identity.
Custom merch helps them build on that foundation. A hoodie, T-shirt, tote bag or accessory can support a trainer’s visibility, create an additional revenue stream and give clients a tangible way to identify with a group, challenge, event or training experience.
This is especially relevant in the United States, where merch is deeply embedded in culture around creators, local brands, sports teams, gyms and interest-based groups.
How Merch Creator works
Merch Creator was designed to make ordering custom items simple for users with no previous experience in ecommerce, product design or print production.
Inside the ForActive app, users can browse available items, choose apparel or accessories, upload their artwork, select product details and place an order directly from their mobile device. The experience stays simple on the user side, while printing, fulfillment and order handling run in the background.
This allows trainers and fitness clubs to focus on their brand, offer and audience instead of coordinating suppliers, managing stock or preparing production files on their own.
The module was built by the Print Logistic development team in cooperation with ForActive, which made it possible to connect the app experience with the production workflow from the start — from product selection and design options to order processing and delivery.
The production capacity behind Merch Creator
ForActive users can access a focused product catalog directly in the app, including T-shirts, hoodies, sports shorts and mugs. The selection includes high-quality blanks popular in the POD industry, such as Gildan, Lane Seven, Comfort Colors and Bella+Canvas, as well as branded products from companies like Adidas and Under Armour.
The product range is planned to grow over time as the Merch Creator module develops. Behind this offer is Print Logistic’s scalable production infrastructure. The company can produce thousands of custom items per day and supports the project with production capabilities in the United States.
For a solution created for American fitness professionals, local operations are especially important: they help shorten the distance to customers, streamline order handling and support a smoother user experience.

A case study in community-driven merch
The cooperation between Print Logistic and ForActive reflects a broader shift in print-on-demand. The model is no longer limited to classic online stores, fashion brands or creators. It can support apps, communities, fitness professionals and service-based businesses that want to offer physical products without adding operational complexity.
For digital platforms, custom products can become an additional layer of value. For communities, they can strengthen identity and engagement. For Print Logistic, the project is another example of how production, technology and fulfillment can work together to support new use cases for merch.
Availability
Merch Creator is available in the ForActive app for users in the U.S. market. The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, giving trainers, instructors and fitness clubs access to the module on both iOS and Android devices.
