EU CUSTOMS REFORM 2026

The EU de minimis exemption ends on 1 July 2026.

What changes

Parcels under €150 from outside the EU were exempt from customs duty. That ends on 1 July 2026.

What it means

Every low-value parcel entering the EU will be subject to customs duties and carrier handling fees — on every single order.

The real cost

A standard €10 t-shirt from China lands at €17 after duties and handling. That’s a 42% cost increase per order.
