We\u2019re proud to share that our production site has successfully completed the SMETA Pillar 4 audit and that Print Logistic is now a Sedex member, joining one of the world\u2019s leading platforms supporting responsible and transparent supply chain management.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SMETA Pillar 4 audit covered our production facility in Poland, as SMETA assessments are conducted separately for each location. As part of our broader ESG roadmap, we are preparing our U.S. production facility for a future audit as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, both locations operate according to the same internal standards and share the same approach to responsible production \u2014 focusing not only on what we manufacture, but how we manufacture it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks an important step forward in strengthening transparency, improving working conditions, and supporting strong environmental and ethical standards across our operations. But what does this actually mean in practice \u2014 and why does it matter for the brands working with us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Sedex is \u2014 and why companies use it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sedex<\/a> is a global technology company that specialises in data, insights and professional services to empower supply chain sustainability. It provides practical tools, services and a collaborative network that support companies in strengthening responsible business practices and sourcing more transparently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Sedex connects more than 75,000 companies across 180 countries. For many international brands, membership in the Sedex network is already a standard part of supplier verification processes and ESG compliance expectations. Being present on the platform allows partners to access verified information about how our production sites operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a SMETA audit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is one of the most widely used ethical audit methodologies globally. Unlike certifications, it does not assign a fixed label or score. Instead, it evaluates how a company operates across key areas such as working conditions, health and safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of a SMETA audit is not simply verification, but improvement. It helps organizations identify risks, strengthen procedures and implement structured corrective actions where needed. For us, this process supports the continued development of our operational standards as we scale production infrastructure in both Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What \u201cPillar 4\u201d covers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SMETA Pillar 4 scope represents the most comprehensive version of the SMETA audit framework, covering: labour standards, workplace safety, business ethics and environmental performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, these areas reflect how responsibly a production site operates not only internally, but also in relation to its partners and supply chain expectations. Completing a Pillar 4 audit confirms that these areas have been independently reviewed using a recognised international framework and provides a structured foundation for further improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key outcomes of the SMETA Pillar 4 audit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    As part of the SMETA audit process, several development areas were identified, including formalisation of selected environmental policy elements and updates to documentation related to cooperation with external partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These actions are already part of our internal improvement roadmap and will be implemented according to the timelines defined in the audit follow-up process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Importantly, environmental responsibility is already embedded in our operational approach. The next step is formalising selected practices into structured documentation aligned with SMETA expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For our partners, Sedex membership and the completion of a SMETA Pillar 4 audit provide additional confidence that production is supported by recognised responsibility standards.     As more retailers and e-commerce brands introduce stricter supplier-verification requirements, alignment with platforms like Sedex becomes increasingly important. As part of our transparency approach, SMETA audit information can be shared with partners upon request through the Sedex platform as part of supplier verification processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our approach to responsible production is supported by our formal Ethics and Human Rights Policy. This includes clear commitments related to safe working conditions, equal treatment of employees, the prohibition of forced and child labour, and transparent business conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The policy also addresses anti-corruption practices, conflict-of-interest prevention and documentation transparency. Importantly, these expectations extend beyond our internal organisation. We work with suppliers and subcontractors who are also expected to follow the same principles across the broader supply chain. This framework formed the foundation upon which the SMETA Pillar 4 audit was conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a factory-owned print-on-demand and fulfillment partner, we believe responsible manufacturing must scale together with production capacity.
