ForActive × Print Logistic
Custom merch for fitness communities, built into the ForActive app
Print Logistic partnered with ForActive to develop Merch Creator, a module that lets trainers, instructors and fitness clubs in the US create and order custom apparel and accessories directly from the app. The collaboration combines the ForActive platform with Print Logistic’s software development, print-on-demand production and fulfillment.
About the partner
ForActive is a payment and business management app for independent personal trainers, instructors and coaches in the US. It brings everyday tasks into one place: class bookings, automated payments, memberships and class packages, and attendance tracking. With less time spent on administration, trainers can focus on their clients and the communities they build.

The challenge
ForActive wanted to extend the app that trainers already use to run their business, allowing them to create and order merch without leaving it. The challenge was to connect product customization with production and fulfillment while keeping the experience simple.
• No expertise needed: users should be able to choose products and upload artwork without experience in design or print production.
• Built into the app: no separate store or external ordering platform.
• Connected to fulfillment: product selections and design details needed to flow through to production and delivery.
Our solution
Print Logistic’s development team built Merch Creator together with ForActive, designing the app experience and the production workflow as one system from the start.
A simple ordering process
Users choose a product, upload their artwork, select product details and place an order from their mobile device.
Production behind the app
Print Logistic handles printing and fulfillment, with US production capabilities supporting orders for the American market. Products are made to order, so trainers do not need to hold inventory or coordinate separate suppliers.
A focused product range
The in-app catalog includes T-shirts, hoodies, sports shorts and mugs. It features blanks from Gildan, Lane Seven, Comfort Colors and Bella+Canvas, alongside products from Adidas and Under Armour.
The range is planned to grow, supported by Print Logistic’s production infrastructure, which can produce thousands of custom items per day.
The outcome
Merch Creator gives ForActive users a way to turn their brand into physical products, with customization and ordering built into the app.
For trainers and clubs
Branded apparel and accessories can create an additional revenue stream, increase visibility beyond training sessions and give clients a tangible connection to their community. Merch Creator makes these products accessible without setting up a separate store, holding inventory or managing production.
For fitness communities
Products that let clients represent their trainer, club or shared training experience — whether connected to regular classes, an event or a challenge.
For ForActive
An additional app feature that connects its digital platform with physical products, supported by Print Logistic’s software development, production and fulfillment.
